We’d like to let families know that a case of head lice has been found in our classroom. To help prevent it from spreading, we ask that you check your child’s hair daily for the next two weeks. If you do find head lice, please let the school know as soon as possible so we can support you.

We read a story about head lice together and took some time to talk about it as a class. The children were encouraged to ask questions, and we had an open, reassuring conversation to help them understand and feel comfortable.

A head lice information sheet will be coming home in your child’s Friday folder today.
