Hello! My name is Mrs. Broughton and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year.

Welcome… Aziza, Manuel, Hailey, Cooper, Aarush, Joash, Sukhman, Lilyen, Dixie, Walker, Saoirse, Mason, Lydie, Reign, Liam, Piercely, Dezarae, and Freedom!

I encourage you to be an active part of your child’s education and to regularly follow the classroom blog. Please use the blog posts as a prompt to engage your child in conversation about school. Ask your child questions such as “What was happening here?”, “Tell me about this activity.”, “Can you tell me who you were playing with?”, etc.  By doing this, you are communicating to your child that you are interested in what they are experiencing and discovering at school.

Families will be alerted by email when a new post is published. The blog will keep you informed about what is happening in the classroom, the skills we are learning, new vocabulary taught, as well as special activities and upcoming events. Each child will also have their own digital journal (Seesaw) with things like photos, videos, and creations. When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS.
